Worksheet

Spin, Read, and Write Sight Words #1

Try not to get dizzy as you learn common sight words in this fun activity! Students will use a pencil and paperclip to spin a word from the wheel. They’ll read the word and write it in the corresponding building. They can keep spinning, reading, and writing until they have filled up all of the spaces in the buildings.

This kindergarten worksheet is designed to give students practice with reading and writing sight words such as about, black, and came. Oftentimes, sight words don’t follow phonetic rules, so it’s important that students get plenty of practice reading and spelling them! These words are found frequently in books and writing. Make sure learners are confident with them with the help of this worksheet!

Keep learning your sight words with Roll, Read, Color: Sight Words #1 and Read, Trace, and Find Sight Words #1.
