Worksheet
Spin, Read, and Write Sight Words #2
Build a sight word city with this hands-on activity for kindergarteners and first graders! Learners will use a paperclip and pencil to spin a word from the wheel. Then, students are asked to read the word and write it in the correct building until every space is filled.
Identifying, reading, and writing common sight words are vital for early literacy. Sight words can often be hard for early readers to decode, so memorization of these words is key. As students learn the spelling and pronunciation of each of these words, they will become more confident, fluent readers.
This worksheet focuses on the sight words saw, please, now, must, of, and have. To practice other sight words, try the other two worksheets in this series: Spin, Read, and Write Sight Words #1 and Spin, Read, and Write Sight Words #3.
