Split It Up: Complete Division Sentences Using Strip Models

Use strip models to divide with this foundational worksheet! In each of the six problems, third graders will use a given strip model to determine a total amount. Then, they will describe the model with a division equation. 

This worksheet will help students deepen their understanding of what the parts of a division equation represent. By visualizing division through strip models, learners can better conceptualize how a total quantity is partitioned into equal groups or how many groups can be formed.
