Worksheet
Spring ABC Order
Watch your reading skills blossom with this alphabetical order activity for first and second graders! Young learners will start by cutting out eight spring-themed words, such as robin, flower, and butterfly. Then, students will sort them by alphabetical order and paste them in the correct place. Some of these words start with the same letter, prompting students to look at the second letter to determine its place in the list.
This cheerful worksheet will help build early readers’ vocabulary and reinforce alphabetical order. Recognizing the sequential order of the alphabet and each letter’s place within that sequence is a vital skill for students.
