Strip Model Multiplication #1

Create strip models to help solve multiplication problems in this third-grade worksheet! For each equation, students will complete a strip model to help them find the product. The first one has been done as an example for young mathematicians.

Strip models are a great way to explain the part/whole relationship of multiplication, as their structure shows how each product can be split into equal groups. By drawing these models out on their own, students can demonstrate their understanding of strip model multiplication. This worksheet also helps learners brush up on multiplication facts within 100.
