Strip Model Multiplication #3

Fill in strip models to reach multiplication mastery in this third-grade worksheet! Students are asked to solve five different equations by creating a strip model. The first one has been completed as an example.

Strip models help reinforce the part/whole relationship of multiplication by showing how a product can be split into equal groups. By creating their own strip models, students will gain a better understanding of what it means to multiply numbers. This strategy can both be helpful as students learn how to divide, as well.
