Worksheet

Subtracting Tens and Ones #2

Learn to use place value charts to help you subtract in this friendly second-grade worksheet! In these six problems, students will need to find the difference of a subtraction equation. They can rewrite the equation in the vertical place value chart, then subtract each place individually. This worksheet does not require regrouping and includes only two-digit numbers.

Intended for second graders, this worksheet is a great choice for helping students gain confidence with two-digit subtraction. Because there is no regrouping, learners can get a better handle on concepts like place value without additional compounding challenges.
