Subtracting Two-Digit Numbers on an Open Number Line #1

Practice two-digit subtraction on an open number line with this bright and cheery math worksheet! Geared toward second graders, this worksheet invites students to use a number line to subtract a two-digit whole number from another two-digit whole number. To complete each subtraction problem, learners will plot the two-digit minuend on the open number line. From there, they will mark the subtraction of each of the tens or ones that make up the subtrahend until they get to the difference. For an added challenge, some of the problems will require regrouping.
