Summer Mystery Letters

Solve the case of the missing letters in this summery activity! Students will read six sets of five words each and deduce which letter is missing from every word in each set. They’ll then write the missing letter in the key. These puzzles include summertime words like sand, surf, and beach. 

Designed for first and second graders, these puzzles give students the chance to practice important spelling and letter recognition skills. Learners will combine their logical reasoning skills with their existing knowledge of summer vocabulary to determine what each incomplete word should be.
