Syllable Chop: Open Syllables

Cut up words into smaller pieces called syllables in this colorful worksheet! Students will first read a definition telling them that open syllables end with a vowel and have a long vowel sound. Then, they’ll read 10 words that have open syllables, underline the vowels, and break each word into two syllables.
