Syllable Read and Match #2

Learn how syllables can come together to make new words in this inviting worksheet! Students will match first syllables to and second syllables to make five two-syllable words. Then, they’ll pick one of those words and write their own sentence with it. 

This worksheet is intended for first and second graders learning about word structure and syllables. A strong understanding of syllables can strengthen students’ decoding and reading fluency skills. Learners can also use their knowledge of syllables to spell words accurately.
