Texture and Hardness #2

Describe how things feel when you touch them and push on them! In this worksheet, students will learn about texture and hardness, two ways to describe and categorize objects. They will be presented with nine pairs of items with accompanying pictures. They’ll then need to choose the word that describes both of the pictures in each pair. 

Designed for second graders, this worksheet can encourage students to describe objects in more detail using their knowledge of everyday objects and sense words. This practice can help students find connections and commonalities between objects, building a foundation for more complex classification.
