Worksheet
The Homophone Challenge
Find out how well you know you’re (or is it your?) homophones in this charming worksheet! In each of the six questions, students will read the definitions of a pair of homophones. Then, they will complete two sentences by writing the correct homophone in each blank space.
This worksheet for fourth and fifth graders is a wonderful choice for building students’ vocabulary. Practice with homophones encourages attention to detail, allowing students to proofread and edit writing for correct word usage. Learners will also build their critical thinking skills as they use context clues to choose the correct word for each sentence.
