The Industrial Revolution: Who Invented That?

The Industrial Revolution and resulting shift in manufacturing was accompanied by a significant increase in new ideas and inventions, creating dramatic changes in work and home lives. In this middle school social studies worksheet, students will be asked to identify which inventor from the word bank is associated with the listed inventions. If needed, students can independently research to gather information necessary to identify which inventor is associated with the various inventions, each of which were critical to the Industrial Revolution in the United States.
