True Colors: Rounding Decimals

The weather forecast for today is cloudy with a chance of decimal rounding! In this worksheet, students will color in all of the clouds that show the decimal numbers rounded correctly. In the first five problems, the decimals will be rounded to the nearest whole. Then, the decimals will be rounded to the nearest tenth, and then the nearest hundredth. 

This worksheet was designed for fifth graders learning to apply their skills with rounding to their knowledge of decimals. They’ll draw on their understanding of place value to round decimals to the hundredths, tenths, and ones places. Students can use these skills to estimate in decimal operations problems as well as estimate the value of money in real life!
