Vanished Values: Making Ten to Add

Climb toward the sum by making tens in this helpful addition worksheet! In each of the eight problems, students will be presented with an addition equation that should have three addends. However, one of the addends is missing! Learners will need to use the remaining addends to make ten and find the missing number that makes the equation true. 

This worksheet for first and second graders is a perfect resource for helping students practice the make ten strategy for addition.
