Vibe Check: Interjections #3

Hmm, are you familiar with interjections? In this worksheet, students will write sentences to reflect different feelings, such as approval, suspicion, and shock. In each sentence, learners must add in an interjection from the word bank to help express the emotion. Students can choose any scenario to write about in their sentences!

Geared toward fifth through eighth graders, this open-ended writing activity will build learners’ knowledge of tone and voice. Strong tone and voice can keep writing interesting and engaging, and interjections can help by communicating emotions. Students will also get punctuation practice as they work interjections into their sentences.

This worksheet is the last in the series, so be sure to complete Vibe Check: Interjections #1 and Vibe Check: Interjections #2.
