What Do You See? Describing Places #2

Discover different environments with this geography worksheet for kindergarteners and first graders! Learners will study images of a city park, a row of townhomes, and a school to determine what features are present. Students are prompted to look for mountains, water, and buildings, then write the name of one additional item they see. 

As learners look for specific items in each image, they can begin to recognize those same natural and human features in the world around them. This activity will build awareness of different environments, landforms, and characteristics that can help describe place.
