Winter Sudoku

Put a wonderful winter spin on math and reasoning practice with this festive sudoku puzzle! Students will complete the puzzle by filling each empty box with a number from 1 to 9, but each number can only be used once in each row, column, and 3-by-3 block. This activity might be a little tricky, but students are sure to feel like accomplished puzzle masters once they've figured it out! 

This worksheet was designed to help boost fourth graders' logic and reasoning skills with a challenging yet accessible puzzle. Use it for a warm-up or downtime activity in class, or have students try it over winter break to keep their minds sharp while they aren't in school.
