Worksheet

Write Inequalities From Number Lines #3

Become the greatest you can be at writing inequalities in this engaging sixth-grade worksheet! In these 10 problems, students will be asked to analyze a number line depicting a certain inequality statement. They will then need to write an inequality statement of their own to match the number line.

This worksheet is intended to help get students more familiar with inequality statements and what they mean, including “greater than/less than or equal to” statements. As they solve these problems, students can become more confident ordering integers and working with negative numbers, helping to prepare them to learn more difficult skills with integers in the future, such as integer operations.
