Worksheet
Writing About Goods and Services
Is a book a good or service? Why? In this worksheet, students will determine whether each item listed is a good or a service. Learners are asked to explain their answers in one to two sentences. Then, students will reflect on how a restaurant provides both goods and services.
Geared toward fourth and fifth graders, this activity is a great way to reinforce the difference between goods and services. Students must think critically about each item and explain their reasoning behind their choices. Short, written-response prompts can help build learners’ informational writing skills, too.
