Worksheet
Writing Analogies: Halloween
Write wicked analogies in this Halloween-themed worksheet! Students are given a list of word relationships, such as antonyms, item and category, and characteristics. Learners will then fill in the partially completed analogies to fit the relationship. The first one has been completed to guide students’ efforts.
This practice is a great way for seventh and eighth graders to focus on the meanings of words and how they relate to one another. Students will develop their vocabularies, exercise logical reasoning, and be creative as they come up with words that both fit the relationship and are associated with Halloween!
