Zipping Around the Zoo: Perimeter Word Problems

Take an educational trip to the zoo with this word problem worksheet! In each of four scenarios, students are asked to find the total perimeter of a square or rectangle. Learners will plug the numbers from the word problem into the perimeter formula to reach their answer.

Created for third and fourth graders, these word problems will demonstrate real-world applications for perimeter.
