Conch Salad

What You Need:

  • 4 conch, cleaned and skin removed, or 1 pound readymade (Conch can be found in some grocery stores, but the best place to find it is a local fish market.)
  • 1 small onion
  • 1 stalk of celery
  • 1 large tomato
  • ½ cup lemon or lime juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Large bowl

What You Do:

  1. Dice up the conch into small cubes.
  2. Dice up the onion, celery and tomato into small pieces.
  3. Combine all the ingredients and mix well.
  4. Pour in the lemon (or lime) juice.
  5. Mix until all ingredients are combined.
  6. Salt and pepper to taste.
  7. For more flavor, place the bowl in the refrigerator for at least 20 minutes.
  8. Mix before serving.
