What Does It Mean To Be Caring?

What you need:

• Caring Choice Board worksheet
• Drawing/coloring materials

What you do:

1. Ask your child, "What does it mean to be caring? Who are some people that care for you in your life? Who do you care for?"
2. Ask, "How does it feel to share kindness and care with others?"
3. Ask your child to draw a picture of someone who is showing care and kindness on their worksheet.
4. Ask them to describe what is happening in their picture.
5. Review the second page of the Caring Choice Board worksheet with your child. Invite them to brainstorm additional ways they might show care for others or themselves.
