In this lesson, students will practice strategies of subtracting time and apply them to real life scenarios. Also, use this game with the lesson that teaches addition of elapsed time called Beyond Just Addition.

In this lesson students will complete an activity called "Raise Your Hand If You..." and be able to define the word “assumption.” This lesson supports the practice of compassion for oneself and others.

Students will have fun adding larger numbers using an open number line, first by practicing and then playing a dice game in pairs or triads called Go Froggie!
