In this activity, your child will learn about the different parts of the brain and how mindfulness can build connections of calm.

In this activity, you and your child will watch a video and learn how the brain easily remembers negative information, but not always positive. You will practice positivity by writing or drawing pictures of 10 positive things that happened today.

In this activity, your child will watch a video about empathy and practice speaking to someone with empathy. They will also discuss how empathy supports living in a community with others.

This activity introduces growth mindset and looking at mistakes as opportunities to learn and grow, rather than obstacles. Your child will understand the difference between seeing a mistake as a learning opportunity, rather than as a disappointment.

A great way to cultivate awareness, focus and attention in the present is through movement. Mindful movement can also decrease stress and anxiety and increase calm.
