Introduce your child to science with something they see everyday--their shadow!

This measurement activity uses feet to compare objects, but not the ones found on rulers and measuring sticks...the feet on your child's own body!

Here's a fun math and science activity: help your child explore four different kinds of measurement, using their hand and a few simple household tools.

How many steps long is the hallway? Kids put their graph-making skills to work as they make a step map of their own house.

This fun activity encourages your child to develop their skills in not only taking measurements, but also in working with the measurements themselves.
