This tasty lesson will teach second graders about fractions using cookies.

In this fun lesson, your students will practice identifying and writing sentences with alliteration. They will also reflect upon the purpose of alliteration and the effect it has upon the reader.

Students will practice mentally adding and subtracting 10 to multiples of 10 up to 100 by playing an all time favorite: BINGO! Use alone or alongside the lesson Subtracting From Multiples of 100.

Help students gain confidence in recognizing multiples of 10 as they critique a flawed response. Use as a stand-alone scaffolded EL support lesson or prior to teaching Big Spenders.
