Your students will “hop their way” into understanding place value with this fun and active game! In this lesson, they will learn that changing the order of the digits in a number changes its value.

Pop into place! This lessons builds your students' knowledge of numbers, their place value, and how to write them correctly.

Let’s start building numbers! Just as building skyscrapers is a visual representation of mathematics, students will use the visual representation of base-ten blocks to add—or build—onto a two-digit number.
