We know that exposure and repetition are very important when teaching students to recognize coins and identify their values. Use this hands-on lesson that can be used alongside Counting Coins or as an independent lesson!

Students will work together as well as individually to add up coins to a desired amount. This real life skill will be made fun when students get to physically count out their cents!

In this lesson, your students will measure the lengths of items and then make a line plot to show the measurement data. They will get hands-on by measuring and surveying the class.
