In this social emotional learning worksheet, fourth and fifth graders are guided to review curated articles to learn more about helpful and healthy tools that can lead to resilience: healthy eating, exercise, and mindfulness.

Students will draw pictures while imagining themselves in the peace corner using different tools that help them practice mindfulness, and then illustrate how they feel when they are calm, happy, and quiet.

When strong emotions arise, mindfulness can offer tools to manage those sometimes overwhelming feelings. This social emotional learning worksheet guides students to design a page for a "Mindfulness of Emotions" class book.

Use the Mindfulness Cards worksheet to have students lead the class in a practice of mindfulness.
