Around Town: Cause and Effect Cut and Paste #2

Connect causes to their effects in this second- and third-grade worksheet! First, learners will read an example of a cause and effect pair. Next, students must cut out the causes at the bottom of the page and paste each one next to its corresponding effect. There are five pairs in all for learners to complete.

Recognizing cause and effect pairs can strengthen learners’ critical thinking and logical reasoning skills. Additionally, this concept prompts students to understand how events and decisions relate to one another, both in historical and modern day contexts.
