Worksheet
Getting Ready for School: Cause and Effect
Prepare for a great day at school with this cause-and-effect worksheet! In the first part of this activity, students will read each sentence and determine whether the underlined part is the cause or effect. Then, in the second part, learners will complete two sentences by writing the cause or effect.
Designed for second and third graders, this worksheet will reinforce how choices and actions lead to certain outcomes. This concept is applicable to young learners’ everyday lives, but it can also prepare students to think about cause-and-effect relationships in historical events and how actions have impact over time.
Keep practicing with A Day at School: Cause and Effect or After-School Activities: Cause and Effect.
