Worksheet
A Day at School: Cause and Effect
Review a day at school through the lens of cause-and-effect relationships! After a brief review of causes and effects, students will read five sentences and determine whether the underlined part shows the cause or the effect. Then, learners are challenged to finish two sentences by identifying a cause and an effect.
This second- and third-grade worksheet will highlight how choices can lead to outcomes in students’ daily routines and communities. This understanding will support students as they learn about cause-and-effect relationships in regard to historical events, allowing learners to track the impact of certain decisions and actions.
