Worksheet

Dividing Fractions by Fractions Using Models #3

Dig into division with fractions in this helpful worksheet! Students will be asked to solve six division equations with fraction dividends and divisors. They can shade the strip models to help them find each quotient. This worksheet includes unit fractions and non-unit fractions with denominators up to 12.

This sixth-grade worksheet is a good choice for helping students improve their confidence with fraction division. The strip models support learners’ conceptual understanding of division by showing them that they can still count the number of shaded boxes to find the quotient, just as they did with whole numbers.
