Ending Sound Swap #2

You may end up learning a lot about ending sounds from this phonics worksheet! Students will read each of the six CVC words and use the directions to swap out the ending sound with a new letter. Then, they’ll cut out the pictures and paste each one in the blank space to match the new word. 

This kindergarten worksheet was designed to improve fundamental phonics skills including phonemic awareness and phoneme manipulation. These skills, along with a strong knowledge of CVC words, will improve students’ abilities to read, decode, and spell words.
