Ending Sound Swap #3

This phonics worksheet is great fun from start to end! Students will cut out the pictures at the bottom of the page. Then, they’ll read the six CVC words and swap out the ending sound of each one based on the directions, creating a new word. They can paste the pictures in the blank space that matches this new word. 

Use this activity to help kindergartners improve their phonemic awareness and phoneme manipulation. Learners can also build their knowledge of CVC words. These foundational skills can help students become stronger readers and spellers.
