Long and Short A Sort

Practice identifying long and short vowel sounds in this colorful worksheet! Young readers will look at 10 pictures and determine whether they use the long a or the short a sound. If the word has a long a, like in train, learners will circle the image. If the word has a short a, like in cat, students will put an X over the picture.
