Missing Punctuation #1

Punctuate perfectly in this playful worksheet! Students will read about two friends riding a new bike in a short story that is missing ending punctuation marks. Learners will be asked to fill in each blank with a period, question mark, or exclamation mark so that the sentences make sense.

This worksheet was designed for first and second graders learning about how ending punctuation is used in sentences. A strong understanding of basic ending punctuation helps students improve their reading comprehension and fluency while preparing them to write a variety of sentences on their own.
