Worksheet

Missing Punctuation #2

Practice proper punctuation in this first- and second-grade worksheet! To begin, students will read a short story about Max’s lost kite. However, some sentences are missing their ending punctuation! Learners must fill in each of the boxes with a period, question mark, or exclamation point to properly punctuate the sentences.

Understanding ending punctuation helps young learners build reading fluency and comprehension. As students learn about different types of sentences and begin to write their own, knowing when and how to correctly use punctuation marks is crucial.
