Worksheet
Mix, Match, and Make Words
How many words can you make using just nine letters? Test your vocabulary and spelling skills in this clever activity! In each of two word puzzles, students will be given nine letters they can use to write as many words as possible. They don’t need to use all of the letters in every word, but each letter can only appear once in each word.
This activity was designed to engage third and fourth graders in creative spelling practice. Learners can reinforce their understanding of phonics patterns and draw on their vocabulary knowledge, improving their decoding and spelling skills in the process!
