Worksheet

My Classroom Map

Navigate your classroom by creating your very own map! In this activity, students will draw a classroom map, using the three symbols in the map key to identify important features such as the teacher’s desk and the board. They will also need to add three of their own symbols to represent more objects specific to their classroom.

This engaging map was designed for kindergartners and first graders learning basic map skills. As they draw their map, students will practice identifying the relative location of objects, using symbols to represent places and items, and reading a map key.
