Unit Rates: Find the Better Deal

Never miss out on a good deal with the help of this sixth-grade worksheet! In each of the six problems, students will be presented with two different quantities of the same item listed for different prices. They will need to calculate the price per box for each deal, then decide which of the two is cheaper. 

This worksheet focuses on a foundational skill and allows students to see how their math knowledge can benefit them in real life. As students improve their ability to calculate rates and build skills they’ll use in more advanced math, they’ll also learn an effective strategy for saving money!
