Worksheet

Write Equations of Lines in Slope-Intercept Form From Graphs #3

Put your knowledge of slope-intercept form to the test with this worksheet! Students are prompted to write the equation of each line in slope-intercept form, y = mx + b. To do this, learners will need to find the slope of each line and identify its y-intercept.

This practice will help eighth graders learn how to represent a line in slope-intercept form. Learners will also reinforce how to find slope, as they are given lines with positive, negative, and fractional slopes. These skills will support students as they graph and solve systems of equations and learn to write linear equations from tables.

Be sure to complete the first two worksheets in this series, Writing Equations of Lines in Slope-Intercept Form From Graphs #1 and Writing Equations of Lines in Slope-Intercept Form From Graphs #2. For more practice, try Writing Linear Equations in Slope-Intercept Form From Tables.
