Make Chocolate Clay

Kindergarten Desserts Activities: Make Chocolate Clay

based on 4 ratings

Kindergarteners love to work with their hands, especially with clay and Playdoh. Imagine how excited they will be to use a clay that is edible, and delicious, too!

Chocolate clay is great because you can make it from scratch with your kids in two easy steps. Once the dough is made and the kids are kneading it, let their creative minds go crazy with ideas for sculptures or free forms.

Teaching the kids to knead dough is a great exercise in using their fine motor skills and they won’t want to stop when the end result is something they can eat. So let them explore their imagination and create wonderful sculptures they are sure to enjoy in their tummies too!

What You Need:

  • 10 oz. chocolate chips
  • 1/3 cup light corn syrup
  • Waxed paper sheets
