A great way to cultivate awareness, focus and attention in the present is through movement. Mindful movement can also decrease stress and anxiety and increase calm.

Ringing a quiet bell is also a great way to support focus and bring kids into the present moment so they can be aware of what they are experiencing inside.

In this activity, your child will learn and practice mindfulness by using their senses to focus on one thing at a time.

In this social emotional learning activity, your child will go on a nature scavenger hunt to look for patterns in nature and appreciate how amazing nature is.

In this activity, children create rising foam as they reflect on the many ways they have grown over the past months and learn how a "beginner's mind" is helpful.

In this activity, your child will practice mindfulness, choose one thing to do in which they can slow down, and reflect on this experience. You can even try slowing down together!

Children learn about the benefits of mindfulness, teach someone else what they've learned, and create a sand timer to use during mindfulness practice.

Help your learner develop her fine motor and communication skills with this fun and festive fall activity.
