Students journey on a scavenger hunt around the school to put their knowledge of the Five Themes of Geography to the test!

Give students an opportunity to show what they know! In this lesson, students will review key terms and construct a map of a familiar place. Whether it’s school or home, or a make believe place, students will enjoy mapping their world.

This lesson will introduce students to intermediate map directions northwest, northeast, southwest, and southeast. It also offers practice writing functional texts using transitional words as well as both cardinal and intermediate directions.
