Windmills have been around for generations to grind food and create energy. During this challenge, students will use various materials and put their engineering skills to work by creating their own windmills.

In this teacher-approved lesson, students will make and play with oobleck (corn starch and water), then write about their experiments. Young scientists will have a blast seeing their oobleck mixtures seemingly come to life.

Help your class gain a foundational understanding of matter by learning how to conduct inquiry and gain an understanding about the characteristics of gases. This lab will have your students amazed at what is really in the air.

Show your students the parts that work together to make a person breath! Have them compare the lungs of a healthy person, the lungs of a smoker, the lungs of a city resident, and the lungs of a miner.

Use this lesson to see how animals can have very interesting relationships. Some help each other, some benefit from others, and some hurt others. Young scientists are sure to benefit from this eye-opening lesson.

In this lesson, students will learn to create an animated character using the education coding app ScratchJr.

Let's learn about the human body. Students will enjoy discovering different connective tissues in this comprehensive science lesson.

Show your class how combining two objects can create a new object in this hands-on science lesson. Students will learn why breaking apart an object doesn't change its mass.

Eye love science! This lesson will help your students understand the parts of the eye that work together to make us visualize the different colors, shapes, and textures of objects around us.

Walk, sleep, run, eat! We're constantly using energy, whether we're moving or not. In this lesson, students learn how their bodies are constantly converting potential energy into kinetic energy and kinetic energy back to potential energy.

Use this lesson to teach your students how the different parts of a brain are responsible for any act they do. This lesson will teach your students how a 3.5 pound organ controls a grown human being!

Star light, star bright! Teach students all about constellations and earth movement with this engaging science lesson plan. Broken out over several days, this unit encourages students to research and report on a constellation.

In this lesson, students will solve a design problem as they create a marble maze out of LEGO bricks.
