The science of matter becomes as fun as it is educational when George gets in the mix! After watching Curious George work with his 'floppafication' pot, students will learn about matter and force.

This fun and interactive lesson will teach your students the scientific method to find out if something sinks or floats with a little help from Cookie Monster.

Sink or float? This simple lesson has students guess the densities of different objects and place them into water to test their predictions.

What do a bicycle and a car have in common? They both move using the simple machine wheel and axle. In this lesson, students learn about how this simple machine works, and will identify objects that use a wheel and axle.

This hands-on lesson will get your students to investigate some mystery liquids, and they will have to use their observational skills to figure out what they are.

Use this lesson to show your students the different types of solids, liquids, and gases. Show them how a solid turns into a liquid and how a liquid turns into a gas by using real life examples.

Introduce your students to the scientific concept of sink or float. This hands-on experiment allows them to see which objects sink and which float. The concepts taught will be solidified with the completion of worksheets.

Your students will enjoy this hands on lesson where they make simple solutions and mixtures. They will have an opportunity to predict and observe solids that dissolve in water.
